This is the simplest and time tested meditation technique that has been followed since ages. Here I have listed some of the techniques:

  1. Mala Bead: Here the person holds a mala bead. There are 108 beads in it as per the ancient Vedic culture. Sit comfortably with eyes closed and try to synchronize you breathing movements with the movements of your fingers on the bead. Repeat till the mala ends.

  2. Chanting Mantra: We have been doing this for years in our puja room. Pick up a simple mantra like Gayatri mantra, Om shanti or any other that may appeal to you. Sit comfortably with your eyes closed without any stress and chant the mantra for 10 minutes.

  3. Inhale and Exhale: This is a simple technique where you try to relax by concentrating on the inhaling and exhaling movement of your breath. Sit comfortably with your eyes closed and meditate.

These simple techniques can lead to a distressed life.
